By accessing the Site, using our interactive Car Finder, or submitting a vehicle inquiry form, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. 1. Nature of Our Service (Not a Motor Vehicle Dealer or Lender)

ChicagolandAutos.com is an independent automotive discovery, matchmaking, and referral platform. We are not a licensed motor vehicle dealer, auto broker, lender, financial institution, or insurance provider. We do not own, sell, warrant, title, or finance any motor vehicles displayed on the Site. All vehicle sales, trade-in appraisals, warranties, and financing agreements are conducted solely and directly between you and the licensed selling dealership or third-party lender.

2. Vehicle Listings, Availability & Pricing Disclaimers

• Illustrative & Partner Inventory: Vehicle profiles, specifications, equipment lists, mileage, CARFAX highlights, and photos displayed on the Site are provided for informational and matchmaking purposes. Inventory is subject to prior sale and real-time availability at participating Chicagoland dealerships.
• Taxes, Title, License & Doc Fees Excluded: Unless explicitly stated otherwise by a selling dealer in writing, vehicle prices shown on the Site exclude applicable state, county, and municipal sales taxes, title fees, registration and license plate fees, and optional dealer-installed accessories or state-regulated documentary service fees (e.g., Illinois statutory documentary fee).
• Verify Vehicle Equipment: While we strive for accuracy, human or data-feed errors may occur. It is your responsibility to verify all vehicle specifications, trim packages, mileage, drivetrain, warranty coverage, and physical condition directly with the selling dealer prior to signing a purchase contract.

3. Estimated Monthly Payment Disclaimers (Truth in Lending / Reg Z)

Any monthly payment figures displayed on ChicagolandAutos.com (for example, ~$615/mo est.) are illustrative mathematical estimates only and do not constitute an advertisement for credit, a financing offer, or a commitment to lend.

• Default site estimates assume a 15% down payment (cash or trade equity), a 60-month loan term, and a sample 6.29% Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for well-qualified buyers, excluding taxes, title, license, and dealer fees.
• Actual APR, monthly payment, and required down payment will vary based on your creditworthiness, credit score, vehicle age/mileage, lender underwriting criteria, and current market interest rates.

4. Consent to Electronic, Telephone & SMS Communications

When you submit a vehicle inquiry or Custom Vehicle Search form and check the required consent box, you expressly authorize ChicagolandAutos.com and its participating local dealership partners to contact you via live or automated telephone calls, text messages (SMS/MMS), and email at the phone number and email address you provide, even if your number is registered on a state or federal Do-Not-Call list.

You represent and warrant that you are the subscriber or authorized user of the telephone number and email address you submit. You may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to any text message or emailing privacy@chicagolandautos.com.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Site only for lawful, personal, non-commercial vehicle shopping purposes. You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or third-party contact information without authorization;
• Use automated bots, scrapers, spiders, or data-mining tools to extract vehicle data or code from the Site; or
• Interfere with or disrupt the security, integrity, or performance of the Site.

6. Intellectual Property & Trademarks

All original site design, branding, code, copy, and graphics on ChicagolandAutos.com are owned by or licensed to us. Automotive manufacturer names, model names, and trademarks (including but not limited to Toyota, Audi, Kia, Lexus, Dodge, Honda, BMW, Mazda, Ford, Volvo, Subaru, Chevrolet, Hyundai, and Tesla) are the property of their respective trademark owners and are used strictly for descriptive identification of used vehicles. ChicagolandAutos.com is not affiliated with or endorsed by any vehicle manufacturer.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

THE SITE AND ALL INFORMATION, MATCH SCORES, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY ILLINOIS LAW, CHICAGOLANDAUTOS.COM AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY TRANSACTION OR DISPUTE BETWEEN YOU AND A THIRD-PARTY DEALERSHIP OR SELLER.

8. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
